The mission of providing the best product to the market is not restricted only to the work carried out by the Cana Brava mine. Located in the central region of Brazil, SAMA has developed a fast and modern logistic system, which provided the company with the capacity of overcoming the continental dimensions of the country and allowing the chrysotile asbestos to reach the most different destinations within the agreed shipping deadlines.

In order to serve the domestic market, which absorbs 60% of the production, the fiber transportation is made by trucks that run over distances varying from 470 to 3.5 thousand kilometers.

In order to flow the products intended to export, SAMA uses mainly the Port of Santos, which is located 1.6 thousand kilometers far from the Cana Brava mine. Considered as the most important in South America, the Port of Santos receives ships from the most representative shipping lines, which offer weekly departures to the world's main ports.

However, other alternative ports, such as Itajaí (PR), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Vitória (ES) can be used for the shipment of the production.
At the port, the products are placed in 20 feet containers. For some countries of Latin America, the transport is also made by trucks.
