The agreement of Asbestos Controlled Use - UCA is a commitment made by SAMA, Trade Union/CCA (employees' representatives) and the National Commission of the Asbestos Workers - CNTA, which main objectives are the following:

- To inspect the Asbestos Controlled Use, through routine inspections in the areas;
- To give awareness to the employees concerning the correct form of working with the chrysotile asbestos fibers;
- To define the fiber tolerance limits in the work environment.

Currently, SAMA works with limits much below the values required by the national laws.
